What time do I need to be there? The first session starts at 7 PM on Friday night. You can start checking into your room as early as 4 PM. If you need to work and arrive later on Friday, that’s completely fine. Please let us know if you’ll be arriving late so we don’t worry about you!
I’m interested in the retreat but worried about the cost. We have partial and full scholarships available and would love to help. Please contact Valerie Ellis at firstname.lastname@example.org or 407-221-3375 for more information.
Why does the cost vary? It depends on how many people are staying in your room and which building you are staying in.
What if I do not have a roommate and want one? After prayerfully considering each person, we will assign roommates if you do not have one.
Is there a limit to how many people can come? There is a limit, due to how many rooms we have reserved for the retreat. Sign up early!
Will there be carpooling to the retreat? We have several ladies who have room to take additional passengers. Please let us know if you need a ride to the retreat and we’d be happy to help.
What are the dining options? Meals (from dinner Friday through lunch Sunday) are included in the cost, and provided at the retreat center. They have a wonderful salad bar along with several main course and side options. If you have any dietary restrictions, please call the Epworth Kitchen at 912-638-8231 and ask to speak with Frank or Karen.
Will we have free time? Yes! We will have an afternoon free to explore the lovely St. Simons Island or relax at Epworth by the Sea. We will send attendees information about St. Simons Island closer to the retreat date.
How long will we be in sessions together? Each session will last approximately two hours and will include prayer, worship, a message, and small groups.
